Earth Hour - United States and Canada
EARTH HOUR AND YOU
Earth Hour is an opportunity for each one of us to take action, influence others and start a wave of change that alters the course of climate change. From 8 to 9 p.m. local time on March 29, 2008, people across the world will come together to turn off their lights for just one hour—Earth Hour—to show it's possible to have an impact on climate change. Switching off is a simple action that can send a powerful message that we care about the future of the planet.
But turning off your lights is just the beginning. What can one person do in the face of a global challenge?
